The village has become known as the “Jewel of the Free State” - rich in beauty, with an aura of peace and tranquility.

The road meandering through the valley leads one to many exquisite sites that makes discovery seem like feeding out of the hands of the gods.

The Artist Amble takes you to various artists who have opened their galleries to the public. Visit The Barbet, for authentic local craft, Art Gallery, coffee shop and weekend braai as well as horse rides for the children.
